If you somehow find yourself watching the Hallmark movie Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To The Alter, you may notice a familiar face during the wedding scene near the end.
I got to play a wedding photographer on TV and hang out in a barn in the ‘burbs for a day/evening. I didn’t take many actual photos because the camera would have been too loud, but during the clapping scenes I snapped away instead of pretending.

Back in December I was asked to come to shoot some photos on set for the Hallmark movie Darrow & Darrow: In The Key Of Murder.
They had a photographer acting already, but I was to take some photos when the cameras weren't rolling. They inserted them into the scenes and physically held them (we ran to the props van and printed them so quickly!), and then viewed some on a computer in another scene as well.
Well the movie is out, Tom Cavanagh is holding my photography, and I'm pretty excited. There are some screenshots from the movie in the gallery above, as well as one of the originals. (Oh, and it was at Warehouse Studios aka Bryan Adams' studio which was pretty cool too.)
Speaking of Hallmark Movies (see previous post), I finally got a screenshot of a photo that I took for the movie Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Impossible Dream.
I got the chance to go on set (they were shooting in Squamish) and snap a few shots of actress Crystal Lowe, playing Rita Haywith, in her element in the dead letter office.
The premise was that another character took the photo and submitted it (and a story she wrote) to a magazine. Always funny to see how it gets manipulated/photoshopped for a scene, which you can see above!
I have a few great outtakes that I particularly liked but didn’t make the cut (she was great in front of the camera), that I might post another time.
So I couldn’t get the trailer to embed without autoplaying, and I wouldn’t do that to you guys, so click here if you want to see it.
Above is one of the uploads from YouTube. I can’t find it streaming anywhere else online, and because we don’t get the Hallmark channel here in Canada, I guess this is the best I can do!
I’ve got it loaded up to the end scene where some of my photos are panned over on when they walk in, and then I’m in it a few times.
Check out the whole movie for more of my images!
That’s me up there…face behind a camera as per usual in the Hallmark movie “Perfect Match”. (Although if you watch the movie, you can see me in action…slightly.)
Some of the photos that I blogged earlier appear in the movie too, as well as some of my other wedding photography (as shown above). Pretty great. I’ll post the trailer where you can see some of the shots, but if you search on YouTube, the whole movie has been uploaded by a few people and if you’re in the states, it’s replaying often on the Hallmark Channel.
For reference, I’m in the wedding scene at the end of the film, and my photos are scattered throughout!
